==Overview==

Any Channel is a leading producer of interactive 3D entertainment, dedicated to creating visually stunning and extremely fun products for the video and computer game audience.
Any Channel was formed in August 1993 and incorporated in July 1994. The name was chosen for two reasons. The first was based on the desire to reach a wide audience. We want to be like "Any Channel on your T.V." The Any Channel logo is symbolic of a video wall or stack of televisions. The second was based on a desire for a strong presence in the developer community. If you sort a list of developers by name, then a company which begins with the letter "A" will rise to the top. This is true. Honest. We even thought about AAny Channel and even AAAny Channel!
Any Channel started in a diner in Cupertino, California, expanded beyond living rooms and dens, and now actually occupies office space! The people who are involved with Any Channel are among the hardest working and most capable folks around. You should be so lucky to have these guys working for you! We know that we are surely grateful to one and all of them.

==History==

Any Channel was based in Palo Alto, Calif., was founded in July 1993. The company was started by a group of graphics engineers from Sun Microsystems, Inc. whose goal was to develop interactive titles that could deliver workstation-level 3-D rendering and graphics on home gaming platforms. PO'ed, the company's first title, was developed specifically for the 3DO Interactive Multiplayer(TM) system.

PO'd was also released on the Playsation 1, with a planned DOS version cancelled. They later licenced their engine to Sega for its game Vigilance. I cant find any information on what happened to the company after that.
