== Overview ==

The Butcher is the first boss in Stage 1. He is an undead butcher residing in the slaughterhouse cellar of the Mansion.

He is first encountered when the three police officers are led to a nauseating smell in the cellar. From there, he attacks them using chunks of meat attached to the hook. After the cops repel this attack, the Butcher hides under the counter and throws zombies at them in return. The undead creatures hurled by the Butcher are destroyed to chunks before it could hurt the officers. Frustrated, he then takes matter on his own hands, arms himself with a chainsaw, and attempts to slice the officers. After a series of combined small arms fire, he is defeated but not before he taunts the cops that they will never find Liv.

The boss is an expy of the horror-icon Leatherface from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre horror franchise.
