Putnam New Media was a media company based in Reston, Virginia. Established in 1992 by Cris Popenoe as part of the parent company MCA Inc. and the New York based MCA Putnam Berkley Publishing Group and associated with Bertelsmann AG. Their projects involved animating storybooks and releasing them on CD-ROM. The company closed down in 1995 due to the large expenses involved in production. I could only find one title they released, Big Anthony's Mixed-Up Magic
