Founded in 1990, SENSE8 was one of the world's leader in providing real-time interactive 3D/Virtual Reality (3D/VR) solutions for business. SENSE8's products - WorldToolKit and World Up - are powerful software tools that enable developers to create their own rich, fully-interactive 3D/VR worlds. SENSE8 products have been used to create applications in areas as diverse as: design, training & simulation, marketing, business visualization (biz viz), entertainment and games. Incorporating our Open VR philosophy, WorldToolKit and World Up support the industry's longest (and most popular) list of hardware platforms; file formats (including VRML); Input/Output, stereo and viewing devices. In addition to software products, SENSE8 also offered custom application development, system integration services and training classes.

They merged in 1998 with a company called Q DE.
