It would have been the first console with a 64-bit processor and it gone out when expected, by the end of 1995. At it's core, the M2 was an IBM PowerPC 602 chip capable of handling more than a million polygons per second and able to display MPEG video (near-VHS quality). It was also reported to house 6MByte of memory and a larger data cache as well as an internal data transfer rate of 528MByte per second. Its 3D graphics chip was able to do gouraud shading, texture mapping with mip mapping on one million polygons per second and even had some hardware transparency effects capability built in. This may have been a title previously used for the game that was developed by US Gold and released by Panasonic, though the 3DO Direct Catalog lists the game as manufactured by Coconuts.
