• Trip Hawkins pens a note that is similar to a magazines editors note, He states the following: 500,000 Units sold so far, 4 partners including Sanyo, Goldstar, Panasonic and Creative Labs, Over 140 Software titles available, They have won awards from Die Hard Fan Magazine, Philadelphia Daily News and Miami Herald, Doom 2 will be released and they have score of retailers including Toys R Us, Walmart and FAO Schwarz which took total retailers to 6,500.
