Psygnosis develops new entertainment products for the 3DO Multimedia Player
Psygnosis Limited, a leading publisher of Video game, Computer and CD ROM entertainment
products announced development of three game titles in support of the 3DO multimedia player.
Psygnosis management expressed great confidence in the future of the 3DO multimedia design. "We have been involved in creating CD ROM products for the past two years on a variety of computer platforms. The CD ROM format allows us to create some of the best image driven software available. The 3DO design is extremely well thought out and clearly raises the bar significantly for any competitors." said Ian Hetherington, Managing Director of Psygnosis

Psygnosis is developing 3 new entertainment products for the 3DO platform, Including: Microcosm, the action adventure game that takes the player on a voyage inside the human body. Advanced Battle Systems, an exciting new product in the "shoot-em-up" genre that boasts fast paced action and utilizes the brilliant graphic capabilities of the 3DO system. And, Lemmings the award winning, best selling, game currently available on a number of formats, gets redesigned to make use of the improved graphics and animation capabilities of the 3DO player. Psygnosis expects to ship at least two of the products under development this fall to coincide with the release of the Panasonic 3DO multimedia player.
