Overview

The Consumer Soft Group ( CSG ) is a group of home video game software manufacturers .

It was established in April 1988 to consolidate the exhibitions of new games that had previously been held individually by various companies, thereby reducing the time and costs involved and providing convenience to wholesalers and retailers. The exhibition, which could be considered the predecessor of the Tokyo Game Show.

53 companies exhibiting 190 types are on display, including 104 Super Famicom, 20 Sega Saturn, 19 PlayStation, 5 3DO, and 1 Neo Geo CD.
